The steep stairs leading to the rooms were quite challenging, especially for those with mobility issues.

such high expectations but ended up with a wet-room shower that refused to cool down. And can we talk about the overpowering smell coming from the bathroom? I’m not sure if the staff were simply busy or if they’ve forgotten the meaning of hospitality. I mean, i expected at least a complimentary drink after all that!

Don’t expect a peaceful retreat. you’ll walk past a busy local compound and endure early morning prayers that echo through the halls. If you’re planning on sharing space, the strong smell from the bathroom drains isn’t the welcome you want. The AC barely cuts it, only slightly cooling the room, and after showers, the entire bathroom stayed soaked for ages. Plus, that necessary trek to the main road for taxi pickups isn’t ideal if you’re lugging bags or need a little extra support. Lastly, I found the wifi unreliable—definitely not ideal for any digital nomad who might need to stay connected.
